What Happens Inside Prateek Special School Every Day
Every morning, our buses pick up children from across West Delhi — covering up to 10 kilometres from Nangloi and Mundka. By 8:30am, our classrooms and therapy rooms are full.
Special Education: Every child has an individualised learning plan. Our trained educators work 1:1 with children with autism, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, ADHD and intellectual disabilities.
Therapy: Speech therapy, occupational therapy and physiotherapy happen throughout the day. These sessions are critical — and without Prateek, most families could not afford them.
Mid-Day Meals: Under our Arpit Annapurna Yojna, every child receives a nutritious meal. Families also receive monthly ration kits of 10kg flour and 10kg rice.
Vocational Training: Older students and caregivers learn candle making, carry bag making, tailoring and computer skills — building independence and income.
We receive zero government funding. Every session, every meal, every transport run is made possible by donors like you.
