150 Children Are Waiting. Here Is Why That Number Must Come Down.

150. That is the number of children currently on the waiting list at Prateek Special School.

They have been assessed. They qualify. Their families are ready and willing. But we do not have the space, the staff or the resources to enrol them yet.

Every child on that list has autism, Down syndrome, cerebral palsy, ADHD or another disability. Every month they wait is a month without therapy, education or the structure their development depends on.

We receive no government funding. Our capacity to grow — to reduce that number — depends entirely on donations.

₹500/month sponsors daily meals. ₹1,500/month covers one speech therapy session per week. ₹5,000/month fully sponsors one child's education and care for a month.
